please explain if the Catholic Church did not set the 27 book NT canon, who did? The Baptists?

The early church had, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit discerned the inspired writing ... those books were in common use long before Hippo.. GOD inspired the canon.. God preserved the canon...

As I pointed out before the Codex Sinaiticus and the Codex Alexandrianus, show a complete canon existed independant of Rome and earlier than Hippo

Trent codified the canon FOR THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH ..they have no power to codify it for anyone else ... the Canon is a work of God..not men

so the “early church” was not the Catholic Church?
if yes, please name some of these church members who did not hold to the Catholic Faith and call themselves “Catholic”
you do realize these codex’s contain the “apocrypha”, they are in your Bible, right?
also, they contain the book of barnabas and shepard of hermes, i assume they are in your Bible as well?
no, the Catholic Church set the NT canon, you follow Catholic Sacred Tradition without realizing it!
