The only logical explanation is, that RC's sat on the abuse button because the thread outraged their thin-skinned sensibilities. I don't really blame the mods that much, whether it was regular or fill-in. Obviously, the system can only handle a finite amount of countless RC's sitting on the abuse button.
Trouble is, that likely encourages the RC's to be even more thin-skinned and at least continue to be chronically so-- INSTEAD OF GROWING UP SPIRITUALLY.

I think one of the more pernicious things about all of the above is that MANY RC'S HEREON !KNOW! THEY ARE AWASH IN IDOLATRY.
And that's why they squeal like stuck pigs at virtually every Proddy post about such. They are CONVICTED in their own hearts and spirits and MUST LASH OUT to maintain rationalized, denial layered equilibrium.
Holy Spirit is faithful to convict. And even where consciences are seared from decades of INSTITUTIONAL BRAINWASHING, Holy Spirit still works to convict.
