but we have a newbie Firestone tire inquising as to your soul level of consciousness, that’s fun
Either post a specific “lie” so it can be discussed, or most readers will be left with the valid impression that Roman Catholics can only discuss things with broad brush insults and are incapable of defending their faith from Scripture, a shame Rome has brought upon itself for years now on this forum.
INDEED.
Michael is the guardian of Israel,
Book of Daniel, the Book of Jude, and the Book of Revelation, in which he leads God's armies against Satan's forces during his uprising. In the book of Daniel, Michael appears as "one of the chief princes" who in Daniel's vision comes to Gabriel's aid in his contest with the angel of Persia (Dobiel). Michael is also described there as the advocate of the Children of Israel and as a "great prince who stands up for the children of your [Daniel's] people".(Daniel 10:13; 12:1).) He is too busy to listen to the babbling of the lost
BTW how does an angel get to be a saint anyway?
The Roman Church has often been accused of producing the Antichrist, but I think that was probably more due to the atrocities committed by this church. I think what we will see, if we are around, is the False Prophet will emerge from the profane ecumenism.
Great insight, wmfights, I agree with you and your statements about the reformation and many of the Evangelical non-denom churches being transitory. I am a restorationist, I believe it is Gods desire that true Christians be brought back to the original Apostolic faith. No, not back to a Judaized under-the-law Christianity, as the Hebrew Roots and Noahide people promote, but back to the Jerusalem council of Acts 15, and the form of Christianity that is reflected in almost every line that the apostle Paul wrote.
I believe we must go back beyond Constantine where Christianity went terribly wrong trusting in the arm of flesh (the state), where Christianity was compromised, the RCC being the eventual result of it. Back to the Jerusalem council, Acts 15, and the Christianity of the book of Acts.
I realize none of the Papists on this thread will agree with my take of the seven churches of Revelation, thats fine, its entirely mutual, along with most Protestants, but this is the way I see it anyway. I see them as prophetic of different phases of church history. When reading them closely, they seem to depict the particular spirit of that phase in church history:
Ephesus Apostolic, or original, Christianity
Smyrna the persecuted church of early original Christianity
Pergamos Constantine and the councils, Christianity becomes wedded to the state, and syncretized.
Thyatira the long reign of Jezebel, the RCC
Sardis non-RCC Christianity which has a name that it lives
Philadelphia the fully restored church
Laodicea the endtime ecumenical milk toast church, which wouldnt recognize truth if it walked in the front door in fact, it is knocking on the door, but they dont want it.
Rev 22:9
Then saith he unto me, See [thou do it] not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God
They are inquisitors. They inquis, thats what they do
EATING, WALKING, WORKING, PLAYING, I bet they’ve even figured out ways to do it while . . .
“BTW how does an angel get to be a saint anyway?”

Seriously though — that is a GREAT question.

Luk 6:39 And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?
INDEED.
I think that's because
DENIAL
Is a river in Rome, running straight through the heart of the Vatican . . . through St Peter's, the Sistine Chapel . . . the square . . .

Too bad, could have been an interesting historical discussion
