Without our moon the earth would have an 8 hour rotation giving us four hours of daylight and four hours of night.

Not to mention wild random seasonal fluctuations.

I’ve always been interesting in finding out exactly where our Moon came from. I’ve read several plausible theories, but no one seems to absolutely know.

Also, no blockade from incoming asteroids, meteors and comets. Take a look at the damage done to the lunar surface sometime. Many of those missiles were intended for us.

Miraculously, the Moon's exactly the same size as the Sun at relative distances to the Earth. This making perfect solar eclipses possible. Talk about God's unique design to make human life on Earth posper? It's contrary to every other solar system we've yet observed. Most planets have many, many moons only a fraction of our Moon's relative size.
