i am glad you think Cyril was a Christian, even though he believed and taught the Catholic doctrines of baptismal regeneration and the Real Presence in the Eucharist. Keep reading him and St Iraneus and you may even stop fighting the Church.
Now, on these silly Mary questions. Because Mary was the human vessel God chose to give Jesus flesh from and Jesus became man thru Mary, and salvation is from Jesus alone, we can say that all graces flow thru Mary since Jesus, the source of all grace, came from Mary. Just as Jesus said Salvation is from the Jews, John 4:22. You would object and say Salvation is from Jesus, both statements are correct since Jesus is a Jew. You are mistaken if you take those statements to mean Mary is God, as i think you are implying. NO, NO, NO, Mary is a created being!!! God alone is to be worshipped!
Try getting Baptism and the Eucharist right first, before worrying about Mary or the Popes!
Why are you disagreeing with your popes?
You call them silly and yet it’s Catholic popes who made those declarations.
By that alone, you are obligated to believe them. Or are you going to tell us your popes are wrong?
You didn’t find the assumption of Mary in that response.
That's ridiculous...Salvation is not from the Jews...Salvation is from God and God is not a Jew...
The KJV has the right translation...
Joh 4:22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
Salvation is OF the Jews...This goes right alone with the verse that tells us:
Mat 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
AND,
Mat 10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
Mat 10:6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
But then your religion distorts the doctrine by changing the scripture, again, and claiming salvation is FROM the Jews...
