the Catholic church bears precious little resemblance to what Peter helped establish in the book of the Acts of the Apostles.

When did Peter start wearing a ring (kiss it), red slippers, carried around by his subordinates, dressed in glittery gowns, bowed down to, live in a castle like dwelling?

He was busy healing the sick, raising the dead, driving out demons and proclaiming the Kingdom of Heaven is near. Just what Jesus, the founder/HEAD of HIS Church, told his disciples to do.
