Many many Christians do not get the distinction between ‘worship’ and ‘adore’. I’m not a Catholic yet I have studied Mary enough that I adore her for her grace. I would never worship Mary ... and she would advise against such blasphemy. But many will not catch that distinction.
Thank you for your thoughtful post. I think it’s a shame Mary has become an issue, in many ways she is the model Christian for the way she responded to God’s grace.
