There is only ONE God. The Triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, hence the reference to “our image”.

Scripture clearly identifies this as truth.

God Bless

The “triune” god is non-scriptural. In fact it’s pagan belief put to the church by a pagan emperor. Read Eusibius. He clearly says that at the nicene counsil (He was there) the Emperor dismissed the counsil and then after most had left he got together with certain selected counsil members and came up the triune part of the creed.

What does scripture say?

“That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us:” (John 17:21)

Jesus prayed that his deciples would be one in the same way he was one with his father. How can that be it He and His Father are triune?
