I found it hard to believe Delph wasn't joking about this. It's so...stupid. The Mormons have funny beliefs about the Jewish nation, takes some research to ferret it out. At some point in their lives, "a mormon prophet" tells them what tribe they belong to, they think they are direct descendents of Abraham.

I once asked this to mormon missionaries. One said he thought he was from the tribe of DAN. I don’t remember what tribe the other one said he was from but he did claim to be a member of the 12 tribes.
