I wish to make the deity of Christ the litmus test. Jesus was put to death for claiming equality God, after all. Even his enemies acknowledged that. If you don’t acknowledge it, does that make you even less than an enemy of Christ? Maybe so. It makes for a good litmus test. And I’m not the only one who draws the line there, which is why I brought up C.S. Lewis.
If YOU have a problem with all of christendom and history, then maybe YOU should examine the facts more carefully.
the question becomes for Mormons is Jesus GOD eternal or just one of 3 separate gods?
Was He ALWAYS GOD? Or did He earn His godhood?
The LDS believe Jesus is just one of three of the committee of gods (the godhead) and that he earned his Godhood before he became human but was a created being and the spirit brother to all of us including Lucifer.
