I’m guessing that one of his reasons for posting the article was to wake up some of the complacent mormons who go along thinking that their church is unique and correct. It may stir them to thought and get them to searching...hopefully to discover the actual truth.

#3...I would simply add this comment: One aspect is to show that Mormons have more in common with Islam (& therefore, Islam's founder, Muhammad) -- than they do Christianity -- due to its founder, Joseph Smith.

The only part of the deleted post I didn’t copy into my response was the first sentence (and I’m guessing the reason for the delettion) which was along the lines of “Why are you posting this [word not allowed on RF]?” There were only 3 questions and I copied two of them.
