"1 John 4:20 proves who, and what, you are." :)
Now THAT'S an ad hominem if I ever heard of one.

Not sure why that is a better question.
Wherever it was, it had to have been made irrelevant by the events of ch 6.

A rope can go through the needle, if broken down one thread at a time. That is the lesson. So the lesson is that if you sit down and unravel a rope, you can get it through the eye of a needle, even if it takes months to feed it all through?

Wouldn't it be great if we knew everything? I do not know how to square it... BUT ... God knows.. there are mysteries in the Bible and difficult to understand parts. God has revealed what He wants us to have as wisdom for our knowledge and benefit, and the rest is in His hands. God is Righteous, Just, Holy and Sovereign, follows His own rules and can do the impossible. I do not have to understand all things in this life. In the coming eternal life, it will be beyond what we can image, and we will probably use the 90% of our brain we do not use now.
The fossil record etc., could have been created by God for our benefit at creation itself. It is exciting to realize the wonders of God. Numerous of man's so called scientific theories, Ala global warming, are truly not proved and the science is manipulated to prove what ever it is they are looking to prove.
While I do not trust man so much, I do TRUST God Science is not as pure as we were taught to believe. MO!

Then you should have known that Tiamut was a 'god', not a planet. The planets were represented as gods. It was easier to spin the tale. To this day the planets are mentioned as gods.

I have better question. Where were they buried?Probably in the Garden, but after the Deluge there's no telling where their remains ended up.

Are you absolutely certain that you are not adding to, or taking away from God’s word there?

Ive studied it quite a bit, but not nearly as much as some other areas of the Bible.I 'trust' people more who say there are things they don't know, or aren't experts in, than those who tell me they KNOW IT ALL (for example:about the Bible).
HAT'S OFF to your REPLY.

The rich man’s salvation was the question, and if the rich man is the rope, he must be broken down to pass the needle.

Now where did I put that?

"They can; the problem is that Old Earth theories are not based in honest science, any more than Global Warming, and the two share the same highly biased form of research that cherry-picks data and evidence, and disregards the majority of the data, in favor of a few bits that can be twisted to support their pre-conceived conclusion." To expand on this, the problem is that philosophical naturalists misrepresent what the scientific method can and cannot say. 'Honest science' cannot accurately extrapolate back into unobserved and unobservable assumed history.
Philosophical naturalists cannot or will not admit when they cross the boundary into their own faith in naturalism, yet insist that their faith must be used as the ultimate arbiter of everyone else's.

Are you absolutely certain that you are not adding to, or taking away from Gods word there? It is 'my' translation, or opinion. However, how does it differ from the 'description' given in the Bible? The end result is exactly the same. The concept is the same.
