Although you can tell, by my tagline, we are contemplating the same stuff, I am a strong believer in the validity of the phrase, “extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence”. In this case, reading the offending parts of the bill would help me believe this is as it is being described in the article.

We bought our 13 acre farm in central Kentucky with the idea that we may find the place becoming a “commune” for our familes. My wife and I have six kids and four grandkids between us. Not to mention spouses.
I started using that tag line almost two years ago. It seemed just a touch nutty then. It is more more “logical” now.
It’s kinda like, calling the US government fascist 6 years ago was a bit of a stretch, even though there were plenty of fascist elements. It would be hard to argue against now.
I wish I had a relative who owns some rural land since I don’t own any. I have a feeling there will be a time when all of you take turns standing guard on your 13 acres. Hopefully we’ll all be raptured outta’ here before that’s neccessary.
Kind of in the same vain, I read somewhere today that within Obomacare there was a mandate that anyone who signed up for government assistance had to have a chip implanted in there right hand. Anyone else read or heard of this?

The property is an entire finger of a plateau, 80’ over the valley (abput 250 yards wide) below. It’s very defensible. Not that that is what we were going for.
