Your more than welcome to not infer anything from the story of the wine but for me the facts are:
Wine was out
Mary Asked Jesus to resolve the problem
Jesus protested
Mary told the servants to follow Jesus directions
Jesus did it
Thus Mary knew Jesus would “Honor thy Mother” so for me cases closed.
I still don’t think she expected it to be done that way.
That was the point I was making there.
Thinking that she asked Him to do a miracle is reading more into it than is present.
