The Obama, big socialist, government programs, policies, edicts and executive orders are changing our money right before our eyes.

Be that as it may, that is not what was meant by “Moneychanger” in the Gospels. The Moneychangers there did not devalue the currency or alter its basis, they merely exchanged it with others, or used it to sell goods.

Again, Obama is not a merchant in the Temple of God trying to use a Holy Place to make money for himself, he is a Government leader who is over such matters, and it is his place. While I do not like Obama’s policies, his position, and what he does, doens’t relate to the Moneychangers in the Temple.

It is all about the love of money as the root of all evil. Our merchant rulers love money so much they print tons of it and change it into worthless paper. They love the power they think money gives them and they worship money instead of the LORD God. The merchants in the temple loved their money as their god and had to be caste out. We need some temple cleaning as well in our living flesh temples.

Let me reexplain.

Obama is not like the Moneychangers int eh Temple. That is what I am saying. He is not an actual Merchant, but President of the United States. This would palce him more in leuge with Caesar than with some guy in a Temple hockign goods or changing money.

The sin commited by he Moneychangers is that they made the Temple, a place of sacred devotion to God, into a marketplace for themselves to get rich at. Obama is not in Churchs hocking wares, he’s in the White House administerign Government. While I disagree with how he administers Government, its not the same thign as the Moneychangers in the Templ, speifically.

I think you’r just tryign to keeo this condemnation fo him going, and he direct link upeven though it makes no sense whatsoever.

The money Obama is changing is the currency of America. He is using it for his own socialist agenda and thereby destroying the money and the nation. America was to be a light and inspiration for the world not a den for a liar and usurper.

The coin of the realm is the dead weight of government regulations, authorizations and permits - “do as we say not as we do”. The alternative is a system of “pay to play”. Either way the exchange rate is set by the One and his Chicago merchants via their fellow travelers in Congress. Woe to those who won’t bow to the government beast system and by extention Obama, who is the head of the beast.

Moneychanging in this context doesn’t mean that money is literally changed, but exchanged for a different currency in a market so that one can buy goods.

Obama is not doing that.

Its also wrong to compare a House of Worship, like the Temple, to a Government, any Government.

while I do not like Obama’s Policies, they are nothing at all like the Moneychangrs in the Temple because Obama is suppose to regulate, along with Congress, economic polity.

It was all about money. The money changers were merchants and the high priest was a merchant who loved money. They thought they bought Jesus for 30 pieces of silver. They loved and served money not God. Everyone must choose whom they serve. One cannot and should not take God out of the White House. America should know better.

I didn’t say God needed to be removed from the White House, I simply said that the example of the Moneychanger in the Temple is not an accurate depiction of what Obama is Doing.

It wasn’t Moneychanging that was a Sin, or being a Merchant, it was Moneychanging and selling goods in the Temple of God. This being said, Obama and his Administration have a right, and in fact a Duty, to set monetary policies. While I strongly disagree with how the Obama Administration is handling the Money of the Nation, it is not in dispute that he Government is suppose to handle such matters. He is not selling goods in the Temple of God making it a Marketplace, he is acting as a Government official over something the Government is suppose to Handle. Obviously he’s suppose to do things like that.

Its about the appropriate Time and Place to do things. EG, no one thinks that going over your business Schedule is bad, but to do so at a Funeral would be, because that is not the time and place and is highly disrespectful. It is Highly Disrespectful to use the Temple of God, in which people come to worship and make Sacrifices, as if it’s a common marketplace of you to earn money. Its not Sinful to be a merchant, it was the Time and Place that mattered. Its equally not sinful for a Government to regulate matters of currency.

Again, I disagree with Obama’s Economic Policies, but its not analogous to the Moneychangers in the Temple.

Oil, wine, wheat and barley, mentioned in the verse, represent all other commodities in short supply due to the abuse of might and power by human nature on earth.

For your information, there is no mention in Rev. 6 about any shortages of oil, wine, wheat and barley, or any other commodities. Your comments, not surprisingly, do not fit with what the Bible actually says.

Didn’t Obama become a merchant when he took over the private sector?

Obama’s spending 20 years in Reverend Wright’s church, along with Wright’s corruption of the message of Christ, could be an example of using a Holy Place to make money for himself.

No, Obama did not become a Merchant when he took over private business. He remains a Politician, he is just practicing Socialism. Even if he had, that still doesn’t equate to casting the Moneychangers out from the Temple. Obama still Trades GM Cars in dealerships, not in Cathedrals. Its not the same thing at all.

Nor does his connecting to Wrights Church make sense in this comparative. Attending a Church, even one with Heterodox and even dangerous or race motivated Theological teachings, doesn’t mean you are using he House of God to make a personal profit. To anyone’s knowledge Obama never conducted business whilst in Church.

While the Bible ones speak of Obama’s behaviour, it doesn’t really compare well to Moneychangers in the Temple.

In a purely logical sense, Obama did in fact become a merchant when he took over private business. The way I see it.

And the same goes for Wright’s church. He used it to gain political power. Political power always results in material gain.

But I agree with the ultimate answer that none of us knows if it is in fact a fulfillment of Biblical prophesy.

I don’t even think those sorts f Bible Prophecies are in the Bible…

…I don’t follow he whole Tribulation and End Times Mania.

That said, I just think it stretches things to try to condemn Obama foe the same sins as were committed by the Moneychangers in the Temple. The two situations are not really the same at all.

This doesn’t excuse Wrights Church or Obama’s actions, its just not a proper fit with this verse.

I don’t think any man can weigh one sin against another, and come up with any reliable results.

The minute it became clear Obama was considered winner in ‘08, I prayed for him on this website. I will continue to pray for Obama—that through the Holy Spirit he may have peace, strength and wisdom through Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior and that his political decisions be guided according to these things.
