I am going to lobby to have us leave I was telling lightman that we are as large as the Ohio church that bailed so we don't need the ELCA. Our missions are subsidized by our members we don't take a penny from the ELCA. And we are so large that we don't need anything from them. I told lightman that I would wager to guess 90% of our congregation doesn't even know that we are part of the ELCA.

I could see us leaving though because I was telling this to lightman we had a Pastor actively campaign for Obama and she was thrown out unanimously by the Church Council for doing that. And the messages are God driven not liberal driven. I was on staff at my church for a while before opening my own business and can tell you we do not take orders from the ELCA. All of our Worship planning took place with the following people the Pastors, church secretary, Worship leaders, and tech director.

Knowing the multiple apostasies embraced by the ELCA will undoubtedly spur your church's members to flee the sinking ship.
