It is a guideline, not a rule, and I have not yet written it down because it should not be necessary. There are obvious differences between personal slams, initials and terms of endearment.
The first complaint was probably about a year ago and dealt with the initials "bs" in a poster's screen name being upper-cased. And there have been several more complaints since then.
