The liberal blogs are upset because some of them had to show IDs before being allowed to vote.
Well here's my take, there should be a constitutional amendment that requires everyone to show an ID before voting. Period.
I don't care who gets offended, intimidated, disenfranchised, blah blah... etc... show an ID or don't vote.
Any person that jumped the border illegally to get into this country should not be allowed to vote in any way shape or form. They are foreign nationals. They do not have loyalty to this country. They will not be voting for the long term benefit of this nation.
Anyone that is here on a work visa should not be voting in this country. They are here for the money and do not hold loyalty to this country.
Ephesians 4:25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
Let every man speak truth with his neighbour. Require IDs for voting.
One person, one vote, let it be counted and let it be legal.

A birth certificate may be better!
You read blogs?
Good Lord WHY?
We show Picture Id in So Florida.
I have to show Id so there’s no reason for anyone else not to..........
I agree we should all have to show ID. Today when I voted however, it wasn’t expected of us.
When I voted, I made a point of showing my ID. I pulled out my license, the lady did nothing. I set it on the sign in book - nothing. I said here’s my ID, still nothing. I said, it should be a requirement to show ID. The lady acknowledged nothing. Her indifference was staggering.
I think most liberals are closet anarchists.
They seem to be offended by ANY rule of law imposed upon them.
DOH...
Ignore/delete “most” from previous post!
My husband had to show his.
Two hours later, when I got there, I didn’t have to show mine.
For some reason, they only check certain voters, per the poll worker. I was too shocked to ask him why.
I had to show 4 forms of ID to get a photo drivers license.
Typically I would say that a constitutional amendment is not necessary if a federal election is involved but since states have control of the actual election procedures I might agree with you. I abhor amending the constitution unnecessarily.

I’ve got no problem showing ID before I vote (and we have to here in AZ). I can’t even begin to describe how pissed off I’d be if I went to vote and someone had showed up earlier and pretended to be me.
That’s one of my worst fears each election day.
By state law, Indiana requires production of a photo ID at the polling place. Usually, a drivers license serves the purpose, but for those who don’t have a license, a state issued ID card is available for free. The 7th Circuit has upheld this law.
No ID required? Well, now we know how “dead” people vote, don’t we?
How you going to verify the ID is legal? They have a cottage industry in supplying documents to illegals. I think if we got the registration process cleaned up and fairly secure it would go a long way to cleaning up the voting process. I have no problem with showing a picture ID when voting. In fact that is how I vote with my drivers license. I never show a voter registration card just give them my drivers license.
We show I.D.’s in Louisiana also. No problem with it.
In SC we show voter registration card and a picture id.
