Thank you for recognizing the need for a Magisterium and a Communion of the Saints in which all believers are of a like mind, as opposed to the chaos within the Protestant world.

That being said, all men (and women) fall short of the Glory of God and no organization comprised of over a billion will ever be in perfect harmony and Communion. If you see or experience a lack of unity among Catholics it is a testament of our humanity, not our ungodliness. The deficiency is within us, not the Church.

Fortunately, we have a Sacraments for confession, contrition, indulgence, the forgiveness of sins and Communion to aid us on our never ending quest for Salvation.

Wow, is that ever a revealing statement.

"And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

Rome's daily ministrations are clearly anti-Scriptural; they presume to remove the sin which has already been accounted for by Christ.

Rome keeps its members fearful when Christ has already freed His flock from the penalty of sin. Apparently some men prefer the chains of the law to the liberty of conscience Christ provides.

"If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." -- John 8:36

Clearly, if Roman Catholics believe their salvation is a "never ending quest" they have not received the grace of God and the freedom by Christ to know the truth.

To those in bondage freedom would look like chaos, because those in bondage wouldn't understand it.
