"Prove it ..."

What is your standard of proof? There is ample proof for those who are interested in researching it, but it can't be condensed into a quip or single sentence response. It exists in many books and academic papers, government and court records and in the press of the time. It isn't available in cut and paste form from the usual anti-Catholic websites. Denial runs deep (and I'm not talking about that river in Egypt)and I doubt that were video taped evidence available it would be sufficient proof for those who have already concluded in the absence if evidence.

Then you shouldn't have any problem providing some links to them instead of sending others off to do your work for you. You made the assertion. Provide evidence to back it up.
