Don’t pick at the cut hand. Let the cut begin to heal shut, get some air to it as soon as you can, keep bandage clean and loose. - I know how men are about picking at cuts and all. Let the scab stay on long enough to do its job. Scabs are God’s bandages.

I do OK until the bandages come off. Probably need to leave at least tape on, even then . . . for the scabs to do their work.
