When you do it is a scripture that supports the Catholic teaching, and I then point that out to you. But if I ask you to explain, for example, James 2:24, or John 6:54, you will do exactly what I say you do: "by explaining how the Scripture doesn't say what it says".

Is that so? And what may I ask would be your response if I asked you to explain John 3:16? Somehow, I imagine you may answer "by explaining how the Scripture doesn't say what it says".

When I see Catholics posting Scripture I laugh. Scripture means nothing to them as they dabble in it and use it only to fit into man made teachings/doctrine and ‘their own understanding’.

“Thus you nullify the Word of God by your tradition that you have handed down..” Mark 7:13

They already nullified God’s Word and that shows their lack of love for God’s Word. The very words they will be judged on. I think it would be safe to say, not only is love lacking for God’s Word, so are brains in the catholic community.

What is there to explain? "God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in him, may not perish, but may have life everlasting". We all agree on that; the problem with Protestantism is that they don't believe in 60% of what He said, as they don't believe James 2:24, or John 6:54, given to you as examples in the post you are responding to. That God loves you is a given; do you love Him back?
