Seems to me there is a pattern here that we are called to good works. We are not called just so that we may happen to do good works

Of course not. All men are called to good works and some choose to do them and some choose not to, but it is not a random process.

Hmmmmmm...... Do you believe that there are any good works that come from the Father that are not done because of us?
