It wasn't because God never told them. Pretty early on, as a matter of fact. Genesis 3:15 It takes a lot of convoluted mind twisting to get a messiah out of that verse, imo.

Like I said, it was a start. I could continue to provide you the rest of the 200+ "Messianic" prophesies, but something tells me you (a) already know what I am talking about and (b) aren't all that interested in hearing them again. Not mind-reading here, just my observation.

No. It's takes spiritual discernment.
