Were it "ALL ABOUT JESUS" there would be far greater emphasis on the actual words and examples of Jesus instead of the misinterpretation of the words and works of those who came later to merely spread the Good News

Lean not unto your own understanding because it WILL led you off the narrow path.

God does not want blind submission to His will, He wants our love, freely given. That is what Jesus taught is the Greatest Commandment. Had God wanted unquestioned subservience He would have created us without free will. Obedience does not mean sniveling cowering out of fear. To obey (from the Latin ob-audire, to "hear or listen to") in faith is to submit freely to the word that has been heard, because its truth is guaranteed by God, who is Truth itself.
