Does God change? What does the bible say about that ? Is He not the same yesterday, today and tomorrow?

Funny, that's pretty well what I posted. I further posted that it is a matter of misinterpretation of men.

"The wrath of God is indeed being revealed from heaven against every impiety and wickedness of those who suppress the truth by their wickedness. For what can be known about God is evident to them, because God made it evident to them." [Rm. 1:18-19]

Notice the change from the OT. Here, God is wrathful at impiety and wickedness. In the OT, God is wrathful at individuals. This is a failing of the children of the Reformation - to pick up that difference.

"What if God, wishing to show his wrath and make known his power, has endured with much patience the vessels of wrath made for destruction?" [Rm. 9:22]

A rhetorical question. What if?

"But if you do evil, be afraid, for it does not bear the sword without purpose; it is the servant of God to inflict wrath on the evildoer. Therefore, it is necessary to be subject not only because of the wrath but also because of conscience." [Rm. 13:4-5]

This is cherry picked in the middle of a general instruction of being loyal to the civil authorities.

No, wrong question .. what did Jesus do about it? He died on the cross to appease the wrath of God..

Let's have the Gospel verse to support this statement.

Let's have the Gospel verse to support this statement.

"He that believeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him" (John 3:36).

“Whom God hath set forth to be a PROPITIATION through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God” (Romans 3:25)

"Propitiation" is from the Greek word "hilaskomai, "to appease" ( Vine's Expository Dictionary, p. 223).

"And he [Christ] is the propitiation for our sins…" (I John 2:2).

As jesus prayed in the garden, that "this cup be taken from Him.. that cup that he feared was not so much the cross, but the cup of the wrath of God, that He was going to take for us

Those that choose to deny Christ's propitiation for them, and choose instead to make it on their works may hear this

Rev 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive [his] mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

Rev 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

Rev 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night.....
