I do agree with you that too many names are given to this blessed spirit filled woman....God gave her the best name, full of grace and the greatest honor, mother of Jesus...as far as the test of your post...*

Actually, she gave him the honor of obeying HIM. As any Christian who obeys the calling on their life. Servants (handmaiden) honor their Master by being obedient to their will/wishes. Not the other way around.
