"You know (pause) the GOSPEL. Sadly, many FRoman Catholics have given us plenty of evidence they do NOT "know the Gospel." When asked, they recite the first four books of the New Testament, and leave it at that, seemingly unaware Christ referenced and preached "the Gospel," and therefore He actually spoke about an idea, a situation, a reality, a truth that seems to escape RC apologists and which they clearly cannot articulate.

When I was a Roman Catholic, I thought the "good news" was having the mass be over in 30 minutes instead of 45 minutes. ;)

LOL!!! Me too.

And we weren't some of those who walked out after communion as if mass was over yet. We toughed it out to the bitter end.

No, I take that back...

The GOOD news was when the weather was so bad that they either canceled church or said that if you missed because of the weather it wasn't counted a s a mortal sin. I forgot exactly how they worded it on the radio, but not having to go at all was the good news.
