personally i am so tired of the Mormon church in its false teachings and false doctrines. that the US governemnet needs to shut it down as a false church

There's an idea.

Imam Obamadenijad could appoint a Church Czar, maybe Jeremiah Wright or Al Sharpton? The Church Czar could form a committee to identify false churches. The committee could include some prominent members of congress; like maybe Congressman Ellison, the first Muslim congressman to be sworn in using the Koran, or maybe Senator Reid, presumably a Mormon in good standing with his church.

Never mind the First Amendment, which prohibits the government from establishing an official religion. That's just a pesky detail Imam Obamadenijad could get around by issuing an executive order or something. Then surely we could entrust the US Government to decide what is or is not a "true" church, and then proceed with all haste to "shut down a false church."

Fine lets not worry about shutting them down, how about just removing their tax exempt status? They don’t need it, they make billions every year in tithing. The US Gov’t unincorporated LDS, inc once before.

And for the record, i support removing ALL churches from tax exempt status. the smaller churches operate at a loss anyway and it would put a crimp in the televangelists and corporate business churches like Mormonism and Scientology.
