>The Abrahamic Covenant is UNCONDITIONAL.<

.Right on! I may be a Catholic, but I still believe that the Jews are the chosen people. God is not some fickleminded Deity who changes His Mind just because He did not get what He wanted from His people the first time around.

For what purpose were the Jews chosen? To be the mortal wellspring from which the Messiah would be revealed to the world? That has been accomplished, and Jesus’ purpose has been achieved. “It is finished.”
Now what should have been the response of the Jews? To believe on Him. But their high priests and Pharisees rejected God’s Chosen One, having deceived themselves because of their self-serving expectation of political delivery from Roman occupation and oppression and insistence that God should give them a political monarch who would re-establish a powerful Jewish earthly kingdom.
I can only know God’s purposes for His Chosen People from what is revealed in the Holy Scriptures, and therein I am unable to find any hint as a to a further, unfulfilled purpose in His covenant with the Jews.
