I'm not a big fan of Hislops....there's a lot of philosophy and non-biblical leaps in his logic. But there are certain elements of Catholicism that, from a scriptural standpoint, are not right.
I understand perfectly though the role that tradition plays in Catholicism though I don't agree with it so there is a logic to the position.
