I don’t see how anyone can be forced to do anything like this.

In the case of the firemen, I think it was 'go or lose your job for failure to appear at the assigned place at the assigned time'.

It's tough to take a moral stand that leaves you and your kids at risk of becoming street people, or even giving up significant income within the family.

I would hope that folks would do the right thing, and that courts would support them, but that turns out to not be the case in the modern world.

I really don’t see how an employer can make someone do something unless they are getting paid, or it was in their contract.

Too bad we don’t have a picture of that bull dyke Tracy Jarman. She was the San Fire Department Chief who ordered the firemen to go out and get harassed at the disgusting San Diego (Gay) Pride parade. If a male supervisor ordered women to go to a wet t-shirt contest his ass would be fired.
Jarman retired at age 50 and is currently collecting more the $10K per month for the rest of her life.
