How does one get to be a Baptist Bishop? If you're the Pastor of a church and you want to be called Bishop and the church wants to go along with it you can do it.
Baptist churches are organized in the same way as the Christian churches of the Apostolic Era. Leadership is determined by the congregation. We do not have a hierarchical structure.
