I would imagine the most effective way for Satan to enter someone's life is for that someone to be completely convinced that Satan is indeed some sort of cartoon character. Getting someone to deny Satan's existence is indeed his best trick.
Yes, I agree with you on the deception. I was just alluding to the idea that he’s just a weak little cartoon. In Christ, I do not fear him. Still, it is foolish for anyone to take him lightly. He destroys souls for fun.
