Reread my post. The part about tense.
I re-read the post I answered, you said
“I don’t see tithing as a biblical thing. I see it as an old testament thing. And a Mormon thing.”
The words “I see” are present tense.
I would add for clarification, “It is a Jesus thing to tithe, today, for Christians, it shows trust in God to provide for your needs, it acknowledges that ALL you have comes from the goodness and blessing of God to begin with.”
