I used to do some ad work for a christian magazine and consequently met people of every stripe. I met the Jimmy Swaggart type pentecostals, the name it and claim it crowd,the ones who would grab you and shake all over praying in tongues, and older AGs who seemed pretty much like baptists.
Like all groups of any size . . . there’s representatives of all types.
However, those who really are broken and contrite and used to walking as close as possible to God . . . end up with a sweetness, maturity, wisdom, Love . . . humility . . .
that is almost tangible.
and often is.
