No lack of understanding on my part. It doesn't take a linguistics degree to realize the difference between admiring a statue of a man and kneeling in prayer to that same statue.

The Bible clearly says not to pray to statues. I doubt God is hoodwinked by Roman Catholic deflection which tries to persuade men and God that they are praying not to the statue but to the person now deceased who may or may not be in heaven.

Scripture tells us to pray to God alone. Just one more example of Rome ignoring the word of God.
