The two posts are not equivalent. One actually IS a veiled remark. It's not much different than, "All Catholics who accept that Mary was assumed into Heaven are idolaters," and posting it to a crowd of Catholics who have just finished explaining the reasonableness of the dogma of the Assumption. It is more veiled, less explicit than any of the psychotically-formatted (and likely demonically-infested) "rabid clique" posts.
The other is not veiled at all. Through the use of an image, it calls specific posters liars.
To equate them is evidence of bias.
