Among voters, 54% of Roman Catholics voted for Obama while 45% of Protestants voted for him.

Those are the uncomfortable facts for Rome.

You know... I voted for McCain and it's not something I'm particularly proud of either. I just missed being old enough to vote for Ronald Reagan so I can say I have yet to vote for anyone in a presidential election.

If things don't improve dramatically for 2012 I'm going to just start writing in "Ronald Reagan's Corpse".

But yes, I'm very uncomfortable knowing that any self professed Catholic voted for that prize loon living in the white house. But on top of that (and I'm not pointing any fingers) there are some people who appear to be doing their level best to drive the rest of us right out the door.

The fact is that quantitatively more Protestants voted for obama than Catholics did. When you have an election in which zero Protestants vote Democrat then you can start boasting. Until then it is simply hubris.

There has been a lot of equivocating and weasel words about it from some RC quarters.

Apostate RC’s would logically vote in larger percentages for such traitors.

Though I suppose some RC’s still like to count the apostates in the totals.
