I Corinthians 5: 9-13 I have written you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people not at all meaning the people of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world. But now I am writing you that you must not associate with anyone who calls himself a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat.
What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? God will judge those outside. "Expel the wicked man from among you."
Yeah, I know. It's Paul.
However it IS Scripture and there is no prohibition against judging the actions of others. Besides, God has already judged those acts as sin and evil. Jesus said that if we love Him, we'll obey His commandments.
Fruit of the Holy Spirit in one's life is evidence of salvation. If there's no fruit, then it's not out of line to question the professed conversion.
Simply pointing out what God has already stated is not making the judgment.
So many stumbing blocks.... so little time. It’s like being on the track team. Well, more like an obstacle course with these folks. Then there is the appalling arrogance.
Luke 6:41-43 (New International Version)
41”Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 42How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
