Matthew 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, "Eli, Eli, la'ma sabach-tha'ni?" that is, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"

And? How do you know what Jesus meant with this question? How do you know who He directed it to?

"My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"

He directed it to His Father.

Jesus on the cross was fully human. He felt the same pain, suffering and abondment as any other human. He was not yet with His Father.
