The difference between double predestination and free will is not analogous to the difference between math and algebra.
Teaching "God loves you." then "He mighta condemned you to hell before you were born." is not a progression, but a reversal.
The two theologies are contradictory - that’s why they split. You don’t teach people one thing when they are young and something contradictory when they are older. The other alternative is to teach neither and leave it to the congregation to argue amongst themselves.
