++++ Thou lovest all things that are, and hatest nothing of the things that Thou hast made (Wisd. xi, 25).+++

That is not inspired scripture..If one does not understand the wrath of God, one does not understand His holiness and how sin offends Him , if one does not understand the righteousness if they do not understand His wrath at sin

Apparently Catholics fail to understand any of that, that is why they do not understand what happened on Calvary and they think that do things that will please God and earn His love and heaven.

One that fails to understand the ENTIRETY of the attributes of God and limit Him have built a false god of their own making .

It is the holiness and righteousness and the Justice of God that we see through His wrath.

The wrath of God was satisfied at the cross for those that come in faith.. those that refuse to come will one day stand under that wrath .

Read the prophets sometimes and see how God chose to deal with those that had false gods that rejected Him.

Jeremiah 30:23-24 23 Behold the storm of the LORD! Wrath has gone forth, a whirling tempest; it will burst upon the head of the wicked. 24 The fierce anger of the LORD will not turn back until he has executed and accomplished the intentions of his mind. In the latter days you will understand this.

Nahum 1:2-9 2 The LORD is a jealous and avenging God; the LORD is avenging and wrathful; the LORD takes vengeance on his adversaries and keeps wrath for his enemies. 3 The LORD is slow to anger and great in power, and the LORD will by no means clear the guilty. His way is in whirlwind and storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. 4 He rebukes the sea and makes it dry; he dries up all the rivers; Bashan and Carmel wither; the bloom of Lebanon withers. 5 The mountains quake before him; the hills melt; the earth heaves before him, the world and all who dwell in it. 6 Who can stand before his indignation? Who can endure the heat of his anger? His wrath is poured out like fire, and the rocks are broken into pieces by him. 7 The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him. 8 But with an overflowing flood he will make a complete end of the adversaries, and will pursue his enemies into darkness. 9 What do you plot against the LORD? He will make a complete end; trouble will not rise up a second time.

Christ received the wrath of God that had been stored up in the divine anger against every sin that had ever been committed.

If one does not understand that one does not understand the cross and the terrible punishment Christ took in our name.. Jesus vindicated the righteousness of the father on that cross,,

God delivered up his son to endure the punishment of hell that we all deserve..

“The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men . . . “ (Romans 1:18).

Displeasing God is simply knowing what is considered unholy, unpure, and
unworthy in His sight.

Amen, RnMom!

If we do not understand sin and how much God hates that sin, we cannot understand the terrible depths that God has saved us from.

Understanding what God hates helps us to know what God loves...and why. Because what God hates detracts from His glory and what God loves reflects His glory.

No matter how much you post the Scripture that “God hates”, the hate is not attributed to God or hate would part of God’s essence. Hate is an imperfection that is opposite of Love.

The hate your reading into is attributed to the imperfection(sin),not Love (Who God is) and wrath is hatred of that love that torments someone because of sin imperfection

Again, Aquinas proves you wrong... “Everything imperfect must proceed from something perfect: therefore the First Being must be most perfect.

Everything is perfect inasmuch as it is in actuality; imperfect, inasmuch as it is in potentiality, with privation of actuality. That then which is nowise in potentiality, but is pure actuality, must be most perfect; and such is God.

In other words..... The imperfection that proceeds from perfection is not of of God who made all things good..We must therefore arrive at some first good thing, which is not good by participation in reference to anything else, but is good by its own essence; and that is God

Hence the answer given to Moses by the Lord, when he sought to see the divine face or glory: I will show thee all good (Exod. xxxiii, 19).
