As I said, all media reports have put the crowds at less than Rome had first hoped for.

You mean the media is downplaying how many people attended events where someone was talking about the immorality of things like abortion and homosexuality? Shocking!

There is a God.

Are you thanking God for the leftist media now?

And just because there were other groups who didn't want him there, either, does not negate the fact that thousands of Anglicans protested Ratzinger's appearance at Westminster.

The story I posted said there were about 200. I realize that may seem like a lot of people by OPC standards, but it is really very small.

You do realize don't you that the Anglicans who were protesting the Pope were the Anglicans who LIKE the secularization of Christianity?

Where did I say the media was downplaying the numbers? The media is, for the most part, correctly reporting the fact that smaller crowds came to see Ratzinger than Rome had originally estimated.

And the crowds were thin, in no small part, because Anglicanism is still the dominant religion of Britain, and Ratzinger was elevating an ex-Anglican who swam the Tiber to a position of import within Rome.

What a surprise that many would find that nothing to celebrate.

Some of them were. But few of those protesters believes men are "another Christ," that Mary is a "co-redeemer" or that men are not saved by their own good works.

[UK’s largest Sunday paper ] “News of the World” calls Benedict “People’s Pope”

“headline “Bene’s from heaven” and the strapline “People’s Pope leaves Britain with a smile on its face”.
