I have constant contact with the catholic church..look around you.. how many 5 or more children do you see in a family..wanna guess how all those catholics have 2 children families?

Wanna guess why self described catholics are over 30% of abortions,? How many of those that go to church go to confession or think it is necessary? Only 30% of modern Catholics believe in the Real Presence ... How many believe the pope is infallible in matters of doctrine?

They pick and choose what suits their lives. There is more diversity of belief in a catholic mass on Sunday than there is between Arminians and Calvinists

You and I are seeing things from different prisms.

Mine is as I described it.

Your impressions—from the outside now-—are as you see it.

In the end, the Lord will sort it all out.

Also, I don’t find it necessary to re-visit my Protestant roots to come back and make a report of them.

I’ve lived long enough to know that the Lord knows His own and that He knows how He is working in our lives.

They pick and choose what suits their lives.

We call 'em "cafeteria Catholics." And I'd say "suits their whims" rather than "suits their lives."

So here's what seems wrong to me.

It's the "good" Arminians and Calvinists who disagree with one another. But it's the 'bad' Catholic (though not necessarily in their own eyes) who disagree with the good ones. Obedient and faithful Calvinists differ from obedient and faithful Arminians. Disobedient and unfaithful Catholics differ from obedient and faithful ones. So I think there's a difference there.
