I realize how easy it is to think people who believe in that stuff are off their rockers...because well, many are, but on careful examination you will find they genuinely believe this and have been fully persuaded by very cunning and smart instructors...from Dr.s to and highly educated people...who are falling for this. I was stunned when I looked into who is involved...... The problem comes from the cook fringe integrating into those who are seeking evidence and serious research about this....it is difficult sifting out the nonsense when you look into it. But I understand those, like Quix, equally get frustrated with the dingbats.
When Jesus takes His church out of the world, the world is going to be scrambling for an answer. Since the restraining work of the Holy Spirit will be removed, evil will have its day and people will be wide open for deception.
Considering all the focus from *scientific* types on space and the search for extraterrestrials and the seriousness with which they treat the subject, and the conditioning people have received to elevate those labeled as *scientists*, they will be ripe for falling for it.
While the Left Behind books could have been written better by a long shot, and they don’t claim to be prophetic but openly acknowledge it as a work of fiction, I think that many of the scenarios they present are feasible.
It at least gives one food for thought.
