I've forgotten whose theology is which, but if you're with the Reformed on this thread, isn't the belief that all your sins - past, present and future have already been forgiven?

Absolutely...But we have one thing the Catholics don't have, and apparently don't understand...We have conviction...

We sin against God...It's our human nature...But then we are remorseful...We are sorry...Even tho we know we will commit sin again...

It's the penalty for sin...The penalty for sin has been abolished...

Then I don’t understand why “we pray to God and ask for forgiveness every day” if you believe, with conviction, that you already have it?
