You post three passages from Hebrews and call them the Gospel of Jesus? This is an excellent example of where you guys differ considerably from the Faith. We consider Matthew, Mark, Luke and John to be the Gospel of Jesus. I notice that nobody has really taken on the Scripture posted addressing both the religion of the book vs. faith, and the scriptural proofs of Purgatory. Is nobody interested, now that the original question was asked and the Scripture provided? Will we hear the same question coming up on another thread complaining that there is no Catholic posting of Scripture?

.
Nothing that you have posted offers the slightest indication of support for such a far fetched idea as purgatory.
There isn’t even a starting place. It’s impossible to refute a vacuum.
What Catholics call Scriptural proofs for purgatory come from Paul's writings.
For one thing, it's not out of the gospels, so right there it has next to no credibility with many Catholics.
The other thing is, we can never be sure from one day to the next whether Scriptural support from Paul's writings will pass muster. At that point, why waste the bandwidth just to have it rejected out of hand?
The “gospel” is the good news of Jesus Christ. It is really mentioned in many places throughout Scripture. And, your post has been answered. Go back and see for yourself. Hope you have a good night.
