Surprised you would make such a hog-washed statement Wagglebee, because that is what it is. But then understandable considering the resources of the faith you adhere to. Still, I wouldn't have thought you would stoop to this. Remarkable coming from you...just saying.

And why would you say this?

Which of the following are not found in various Protestant denominations?

A. Elimination of confession to clergy.
B. Elimination of the belief that how we act can affect salvation.
C. Elimination of the belief pre-marital, extra-marital or homosexual sex is a sin.
D. Ordination of women.

Yes, there are some denominations who are now going this direction.... but as far as Confessing to anyone in the clergy.....I do not, have not, nor will I confess before anyone but Christ...he alone can forgive, empower, and is the only one who paid the price for my forgiveness.

Who said how we act does not affect our salvation?...it's because we are saved...”all things have become new in Christ”....our “action” was accepting that His work is finished, we are free because the son set us free, and for this our desire is for Him and what He might require us, which is always a choice. We can cooperate with His will for us and or oppose it. But the choice remains ours because we are free...free from the law which bound us to sin...we are now free to serve him and enjoy the relationship with Him he desires.

I would not attend a church that openly supports the sexual limits Christ established...nor have I attended such in the past. These are indeed sin and not for a church or Pastor to support.....

As for woman being in places of Ordination within a church...that has been an issue for years both in the Catholic church and the Protestant churches...I have no problem with a woman ‘temporarily’ filling a Pastors place if there are no men capable of doing so..but I do not support woman Pastors, nor would I attend a church which has ordained woman Pastors. That just is not going to happen for me..but I could see woman as teachers within the church but they must meet the requirements of a teacher to do so.... It is no secret the family of believers churches are under attack Wagglebee....no church is exempt now. All are getting hammered from within and without. Could very well be the "sifting" of Gods people from those who are not has begun...and what we are seeing these days.
