The false oath of the KofC, like all anti Catholic screeds, needs to be exposed in the light of day and all rational people need to quit posting it as truth. That is what I want. I have no idea what you are going on about here. We are discussing the events as they transpired yesterday and Quix's outspoken support for a hate document that the original poster has apologized for. Quix hasn't, gives no indication that he ever will and has not clue one why what happened is evil and needs to be exposed for the evil that it is.
I praise Jim Robinson for the strong ethical standards that he enforces among the mods on the RF and he does not allow hate speech here.
That’s the point, Mark. It WAS exposed. And we all acknowledge that it was a false oath. From what I’ve read, Quix has NOT had ‘outspoken support for a hate doctrine. He supported the poster, not the posted. Who is still posting it as truth? No one. Who continues to speak of it as if it were just posted and the ink is still wet? You. I do enjoy sparring with you over beliefs, but c’mon. No one left on this site believes that crap was true by now. Quit treating it as if villagers are gathered with torches and pitchforks, waiting to attack the KofC. You are a better person than that, wolverine friend.;)

Given that the evident reality testing is so poor, perhaps it would be helpful to give a short lesson in basic realities involved.
People are living creatures created in God's image. I think even Roman Catholics would agree to that. Probably even the rabid clique sorts would agree to that. They have mothers, fathers, are born, live, work, have relationships, hopefully learn to love and serve God and fellow man etc. Some of them even post on FR.
Documents are not living creatures. Unless they are written in blood, they are unlikely to have blood in them. They appear on screens, on paper, on walls, on TV's, on movies, on billboards . . . they are symbols, text conveying agreed-upon meanings. They are not people and cannot pretend convincingly to be people.
I NEVER supported the document or even had one thing to say about it until late in the game when I noted it was false.
I always supported RNMomOf7 as a person and as an honorable Christiand and an honorable FREEPER. I am glad I did. I still do. Folks who have a hard time with that can go suck rocks.
My best guess as Quix . . . is that the fury was sooooooooo over the cliff intense against the person of RNMomOf7; that little of it has leaked off but has been transferred. How honorable. /sar
Routinely, the only hate speech I observe on FR is that directed by a cluster of rabid clique sorts of RC's toward Dr E and myself, primarily and somewhat occasionally at other Proddys. It is routinely mean-spirited, harshly personally assaultive and viscious. It's virtually never apologized for.
The irony in the post I'm replying to is probably sufficient to provide another complete 8 lanes worth of QE2 pontoons for the pontoon bridge between San Diego and Sydney with proably a branch to New Zealand.
